What may be collected
The waitlist may store an email address, permission and signup time after explicit consent. A story service may store account, membership, consent, recording, processing, sharing, book and access decisions needed to provide the service.
Who controls a story
The senior owns and controls their story. Recording, processing, sharing with family, original-audio access and book inclusion are separate permissions. Payment never supplies consent. The senior can pause, stop or withdraw permissions.
How stories are used
Stories are kept for the invited family experience and are not used for advertising, voice cloning or model training without separate explicit consent. The interviewer discloses that it is an AI.
Private access and deletion
Family listening uses private links and current permissions. Deletion and revocation are designed to remove access and queue associated text and recordings for private removal. Physical printed copies cannot be recalled by a digital deletion request.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers, each receiving only what it needs: Stripe for payments, Supabase for secure storage, Vercel for website hosting, Twilio for phone calls and OpenAI for the interview companion. Stories are never sold and are not used for advertising.
How long information is kept
Interest-list emails are kept until you ask us to remove yours or the list is closed. Story recordings and transcripts are kept while the family account is active. When a storyteller withdraws permission or a family asks for deletion, access is removed and the associated recordings and text are queued for deletion. Printed books already delivered cannot be recalled.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work and for signed-in family access. There are no advertising trackers.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email moosecreekmedia@gmail.com and we will respond.
